Education: MacEwan University’s Massage Therapy Diploma Program, class of 2014

Massage Style: Treating the body as a whole multi-dimensional unit that is subject to the effects of posture, gravity, and more sitting than we evolved to do, which sometimes means working in a different area than where you feel discomfort. I love helping clients puzzle out why something hurts, working within their comfort to improve the situation, and advising how best to keep it from happening again!

Pressure Range- Capable of very light or very firm pressure as requested by clients and tolerated by their body. I strongly believe that there is more to getting at deep muscles than pushing hard.

Chat Preference- My preference is your preference. Content to work in silence (or the sound of your snores) or chat the entire time.

I’ve always had a deep belief that we are much more than the ‘boxes’ we are put into in western health. Working administratively and as a peace office in health care and administratively in health insurance fueled my passion towards bridging the gap that exists and in navigating health and healing.

I have a heightened intuition with the emotional and physical bodies and found my way to Massage Therapy in 2017 after healing from an autoimmune condition as well as healing enough to avoid a low back surgery. I started incorporating eastern practices into my services to address not only physical health but to address root causes and the correlation mental and emotional stress have on the physical body. Health is everything that we are by natural design if surrounded by an adequate environment. True healing comes from promoting self-awareness and our willingness to find out what it takes to make optimal health a reality. In addition to assessing and treating muscle conditions, I pay close attention to how the body responds to the treatment and to the nervous system cues that surface. Promoting awareness of how stress presents physically and helping clients listen to the cues their bodies communicate is a key part of my treatments so we can learn to unravel patterns hindering health! If clients choose, they can receive guided meditation, reiki healing, and goal-oriented homecare guidance with any massage treatment (charges apply for energy work).

I am so excited to be at a new wellness clinic where our nervous system is addressed in relation to healing!
